The Hat District is a cluster of former hat factories and historic buildings in the heart of Luton, which the Culture Trust has developed into creative workspaces, start-up workshops, a gallery and a refurbished Arts Centre. The project has taken six years (2016-22). This publication celebrates the capital project journey, the heritage buildings, their former use and how they are animated and used today.
